Looks realistic indeed, but at the same time minimalistic with a nice sketchy feel to it. I really like the detailed eyes (it's usually the first thing I look at). However, I still think, the fur could be a little more detailed. Also, I'd put a little more emphasis on the whiskers by making them more visible, instead of just showing the base. Looking at the background, some parts of the grass could be useful as a fur "texture" (I thought those are some fur, that fell out of the cat xD), or at least it would look good on the inside of the cats ear. Personally, I would prefer, if the background was a bit darker, since the subject is already bright enough. Last, but not least, the "horizon" is way too empty and it should have rather at least been red, or blue, so the colors are a bit more "balanced". One more thing is that I would prefer, if the lines were more perfect and their color more light, but since I know the reason for that myself, I'm just silently pointing it out. The kitty could have taken some more shading effects.

On a side note, I absolutely love the expression! :3
